  • ABOUT

[wpvideo UKMmkcWg]

Introduction

We are surrounded by examples of goodness in the people we meet each day and the wonder of creation. Our days are also filled with opportunities to be a presence of goodness in our world through our interactions with the people we encounter and our care for creation. As we become more intentional about looking for the good and being the good wherever we are, we find more and more opportunities. This is how we live the spirit of St. Julie and help make goodness thrive in our world.

Activity

Look for at least two examples of goodness in the people and creation around you each day. Choose to be a presence of goodness in our world through your words and actions at least once each day.

Sharing

Post how you have seen goodness and how you have been goodness.  Be sure to include the hashtag #StJulie2day.

The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur value Communication of all its forms! We bond with one another through verbal and non-verbal communications, for building and strengthening our relationships internationally and cross-culturally, and for collaborating with our Associates, Notre Dame Mission Volunteers, Co-workers, and Partners in Mission. We network for the Mission of the Gospel, the Church and our Religious Congregation in making known God’s goodness in our time, and in all the places where we serve. We commit ourselves to stand with those made poor by the unjust structures of the society.

"Ah! How good is the good God."

St. Julie Billiart expressed frequently her special gift of trust in God: "How good is the good God." Today, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur make known God’s goodness on five continents.
