SNDdeN Making known God’s Goodness

Lesson Plans on St. Julie Billiart and Sr. Dorothy Stang are available.

Two NEW initiatives are made available for your use starting February 1, 2019.

SNDdeN NGO Representative at the United Nations, Sr. Amarachi Grace Ezeonu invites, encourages and welcomes our Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur to the United Nations. Seven SNDdeN from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru, and the United States participated in events and conferences of the UN Forum in New York in July 2018.

This one highlights the focus and impact the SNDdeN make with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Take some time to review the variety of SDG Actions submitted by various networks, congregations, assemblies, communities, etc. (There are 4 filters you can use to “focus” your search.)

Another initiative, highlights the 215th Anniversary of our Foundation on February 2, 1804.

The Golden Jubilee of St. Julie Billiart’s Sainthood

Sr. Christiane Houet SNDdeN (Coordinator of Heritage Center, Namur) and Mme Marie Felten(General Archivist, Namur) will author each monthly theme in French. Sr. JoAnn Recker SNDdeN, will provide a translation in English. Tabs provide additional helpful information. Go to https://snddensjb50.org to see February’s Theme: The Goodness of God/La Bonté de Dieu.

The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur value Communication of all its forms! We bond with one another through verbal and non-verbal communications, for building and strengthening our relationships internationally and cross-culturally, and for collaborating with our Associates, Notre Dame Mission Volunteers, Co-workers, and Partners in Mission. We network for the Mission of the Gospel, the Church and our Religious Congregation in making known God’s goodness in our time, and in all the places where we serve. We commit ourselves to stand with those made poor by the unjust structures of the society.
